Arrest made following the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.

Thapelo Jali, 21, died on 22 July in Normacot, after being found in an alleyway off Buccleuch Road with serious injuries.

Specialist officers continue to support Thapelo's family.

A 50-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

He has been released on police bail as police continue to investigate.
