Arrest made after man shot twice with BB gun in Stoke-on-Trent

Police were called to King Street, Fenton, at around 1pm this afternoon after a man was shot twice with a BB gun (Nub News).

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after another man was shot twice with a BB gun on a Stoke-on-Trent street.

Police were called to King Street, Fenton, this afternoon. They searched a property, recovered the BB gun and arrested the man on suspicion of assault.

The victim has sustained injuries to his face and attended hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses also report seeing a dog being carried out of a house, but Staffordshire Police confirmed to Nub News: "There was a dog at the property, but it certainly has not been shot".
