Another bank branch in Stoke-on-Trent has confirmed it will close for good in early 2025.

Halifax will close 32 banks, including the branch on Market Street in Longton.

This comes only days after TSB closed its branch also on Market Street. Read more about the closure here.

A Halifax spokesperson said: "As many customers now choose to bank through their mobile app or online, visits to our Longton branch have fallen over recent years. When the branch closes in January, customers can continue to manage their money with us online, by calling us, in person at Stoke-on-Trent or the local Post Office on Bennett Precinct."

Halifax will close on Market Street on 8 January 2025.
