Stoke-on-Trent has officially made the top ten of 'the most difficult places to find a parking space in the UK'. 

A new study conducted by Moneybarn analysed the number of NCP car parks and parking spaces available vs the number of licenced cars in each city. 

In the findings, Stoke-on-Trent was ranked as the 9th most difficult place to find a parking space in the UK, with only 2.69 parking spaces available per 112,000 cars.

Moneybarn found there are only 4 NCP car parks in the city, providing a total of 301 spaces. 

Chester was named the worst area in the UK to find a parking space, with 1.15 spaces per 1,000 cars whereas Cambridge, Manchester and Glasgow were ranked as having the most parking spaces available.
