A Staffordshire residential and dementia care home has recruited a highly-experienced Home Manager to lead their team.

Shoemaker Place in Stone, which is part of the Borough Care Group, has announced that Claire, who has over four decades of experience in the care sector, will be taking on the role of Home Manager.

Claire started her career as a support worker in 1986 and has been providing exceptional care to those in need ever since.

Throughout her career she has seen the care sector change but her commitment to ensuring residents feel safe, happy, valued and truly at home has remained the same.

Speaking about Claire, Borough Care Group said: "She believes that outstanding care starts with outstanding people, recognising that staff are the heart of any successful home.

"Claire is committed to creating a supportive and positive environment where colleagues and residents feel respected, valued and empowered to thrive.

"Leading with compassion, respect and unwavering dedication, she is proud to be Home Manager at Shoemaker Place, and we are looking forward to all the great things Claire will bring to our home."
