Pub to host casino charity night in aid of Dougie Mac and The Wendy Jones Trust

A pub in North Staffordshire is set to host a black tie casino charity night in aid of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and The Wendy Jones Trust.
The Travellers Rest, in Stanley, will host games such as roulette, blackjack, horse racing and more on Friday 20 June to raise funds for the two charities.
The event will be ticketed at £10 each and no real money will be won with all proceeds from ticket sales split between the two charities.
Instead, there will be prizes for "the most chips at the end of the night", "the biggest win of the night" and many more.
The Travellers Rest says: "This is solely for fun and raising as much money as possible for these amazing causes that are so close to our hearts.

"The chips provided will be fake money and hold no physical value. More chips will be available to buy on the night.
"We look forward to seeing you all suited and booted, having a good time and raising as much money as possible."
The £10 ticket includes $100 of play money to start off and there will be a special casino night menu available, which includes burgers and loaded fries.
Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and anyone interested should ask at the bar at The Travellers Rest.
The pub says they will not be able to reserve tickets or supply tickets over the phone.
