Exploring summer's seasonal delights at Little Seeds

As the brighter days and warmer evenings return to Staffordshire, it's the perfect time to sit back and unwind in comfort with a seasonal cocktail in hand.
Little Seeds is a fine-dining restaurant based in the heart of Stone serving a range of refined, seasonal food and drink.
The restaurant's popular terrace and outdoor bar area is perfect for spontaneous sunny-day outings with a range of seasonal cocktails and nibbles to enjoy.

Little Seeds opened on Radford Street in June 2016, when owners Jake and Sophie decided to open an eatery which reflected where they themselves would like to dine.
Sophie said: "You can sit back and have a bottle of wine for an hour or so and chill out on the terrace.
"Our cocktails are all seasonal-based so throughout the summer we'll be using strawberries, raspberries as well as wine-based spritzers.
"We have a gorgeous Kir Royale, a Shandon spritz, which is a bit like an elevated take on a Buck's Fizz and a lemon-based cocktail called the Lemon Drop.

"So we have a good variety of light, summery cocktails that you're not likely to find elsewhere in the area."
Little Seeds also has its own Garden Gin, flavoured with refreshing notes of Lemon Verbena and Lemon Balm to reflect the restaurant's herb garden.
The restaurant has two separate terraced areas available for walk-in guests on sunny days.
You can sit out for a cocktail, beer, wine or soft drink, or there's even the option to eat your meal outside on warm days.
Little Seeds offers a popular A la Carte menu which Sophie says "is a traditional three-course menu which is all seasonal British food".
From this, Sophie and Jake created a tasting menu, with Jake's own herb garden taking centre stage.

Little Seeds is open Wednesday and Thursday 6pm-11pm and Friday and Saturday 12pm-3pm and 6pm-11pm.
Booking is advised if dining in the restaurant- to secure your place and find out more, visit the website.
