Swansway Motor Group has appointed Simon Handy to the role of General Sales Manager at Stoke Audi.
Simon brings with him several years of experience with the Audi brand, having previously worked as a New Sales Manager at another Audi dealership.
After initially being attracted to Swansway by the prospects of working at the impressive Stoke Audi site, coupled with the business' fabled family values, Simon has been incredibly impressed by the drive of the team to sell cars and deliver an excellent customer experience, acknowledging that it is at the forefront of all they do.
Simon said: "So far it has been brilliant, the team are receptive and have helped me to settle in, while getting accustomed to how I work. I really benefited from the company induction, meeting the likes of Marc Evans (Group Sales Training Manager) was helpful and we're working well."
As a leader Simon views himself as a facilitator, citing that he wants to get the best possible out of a talented team. Additionally, Simon, whose personality is immediately felt, hopes to leave his individual stamp on the new role.
Looking ahead, Simon hopes that the Stoke Audi team can continue to provide an excellent customer experience and watch the sales develop from there.
Neil Rimmer, Head of Business at Stoke Audi, commented on Simon's appointment: "We were initially attracted by Simons' previous Audi management experience and in addition, his mentoring and coaching skills had shone through during our discussions.
"Since starting he has fit in well with the rest of the team and instantly taken to the way that we do things at Swansway. Simon has also brought with him plenty of additional processes and new ideas that have worked well for him previously that will be beneficial to the team, the dealership and its customers going forward."
Everyone at Swansway Motor Group would like to welcome Simon to the business and wish him the very best in his new role.
