HVAC Specialist - IND1 TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a HVAC Specialist to work for one of the UKs leading facilities companies on a remote basis throughout the southwest. In this hybrid role, youll split your time between client site visits and remote technical support, ensuring HVAC and Hot Water systems are maintained to the highest standards. This can include technical information about equipment, updates and training the team onsite as well.

  • Schedule -Monday to Friday40 hours
  • Workinghours Flexible (Door to Door pay)
  • On Call 1 in 4 weeks on call. This is for technical phone call support.
  • Salary £49,767/yr.
  • Location Southwest England (Bristol, Bournemouth, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall)
  • Extra Overtime available
Your duties will be but not limited to
  • Provide technical support to field engineers, both remotely and on-site, including complex fault diagnosis and BEMS analysis.
  • Conduct remote triage of HVAC and Hot Water issues to improve first-time fix rates and reduce downtime.
  • Audit PPMs and reactive repairs, ensuring compliance with SOPs, standards, and best engineering practices.
  • Carry out site surveys and performance checks to confirm equipment is operating to design specifications.
  • Identify repeat asset failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
  • Mentor and upskill engineers, contributing to their technical development and overall team capability.
  • Deliver clear client updates, technical investigations, and reports to support service transparency and performance.
Requirements
  • Full UK License 6 points max.
  • F Gas Category 1
  • Recognized apprenticeship or qualification in Mech, Elec or HVAC
  • Knowledge of Plumbing and Heating systems
  • Knowledge of Electrical aspects for HVAC
  • Knowledge around Commercial Gas (not as important)
