HGV Mechanic Location: Stoke Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30am till 4:30pm Salary: £50,000 (depending on experience)per annum What You'll Be Doing: Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trucks and trailers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality. Accurately and efficiently complete all compliance documentation. Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE. Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting tight deadlines. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Consistently uphold and demonstrate strong values and behaviours. Who We're Looking For: We are seeking passionate and skilled candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Here's what we're looking for: Essential: Artic-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience. Industry standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs. Desirable: HGV Class 1 driving licence prefered but not essential. IRTEC accreditation. EBS diagnostics experience, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems. Welding certification desired but not essential. Training or experience with axle manufacturers such as BPW, SAF, or JOST. Tail lift training and experience. Double deck or lifting deck maintenance experience.
