Our client is looking for an experienced grounds maintenance person to start asap.

Our client HMP Werrington are looking for an experienced grounds person to start a temporary contract asap. The position involves working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week. There is a chance the position will become permanent. Duties will include-

General maintenance, e.g. grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves and litter, verges

Construction work if required, e.g. walling, flagging, kerbing rockeries, play areas etc.

Erect/dismantle equipment

Horticulture activities, e.g. planting, pruning and seeding

Setting out, making sports pitches including grass, tarmx, sports hall surfaces

Upkeep of artificial, synthetic pitches

Painting sundry equipment

Drainage works

Undertake vehicle, tractor, cutting equipment checks
