We are looking to engage a number of experienced electrical technicians to fill gaps in our teams due to a high degree of contract wins and success within the business. Based on the outskirts of Stoke on Trent, Staff's, we are a highly versatile and somewhat exciting organisation that is expanding its delivery worldwide. Now is as good a time as ever to join this exciting organisation and be caught up in the success that comes along with it, to include strong stability and continuity of work, an excellent working environment and a superb benefits package.The role will involve cable routing through a locomotives chassis and bodywork, renew wiring and looms, crimp to a high standard and maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times. There is a strong desire for excellence during a programme of conversions. You will have a sound and proven background in wiring in a similar industry/roleKey attributes will include: Eye for detailExcellent work ethic and reliabilityCommitment to working to a high standardDiagnostics, fault findingAdept with working with testing toolsCapable and prepared to support colleagues in undertaking mechanical activities (Team Work)Qualifications in an Electrical or Electronics subjectDue to the nature of the working environment, you should be fit and healthy and be capable to access and work in some confined spacesWorking routine, shift patterns37.5 hours per week plus occasional overtimeMonday to Friday - RosteredWeekly rotational shift, 06.00 to 14.30 and 14.00 - 22.30This is an excellent opportunity for those from an Aviation, Military, Automotive, Plant electrical/electronics background to get a solid engineering foot in the door of the Rolling Stock/Rail Industry.
