Who we are looking for

A Cleaning Team Leader, who will oversee the provision of cleanliness across our property portfolio and monitor, assess and develop staff performance to support the Company's operation.

Working with the Facilities Services Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of cleaning services, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. All cleaning tasks will be monitored to ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.

The night shift follows a 7on/7off pattern, the working week runs Monday to Sunday, which is followed by a full week of 7 nights off. A typical night shift will require you to work Monday 18:00 - 03:30 and Tuesday to Sunday 18:00 - 03:00.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Professional cleaning experience, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Full understanding of COSHH.
  • Experience in the performance and development of staff, including objective setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Efficient and effective team management skills.
  • Understand Health and Safety guidelines and expectations.
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertaking weekly stock checks.
  • Following agreed cleaning policies and procedures.
  • Communicating issues and concerns to line manager.
  • Reviewing own teams work practices and environment.
  • Maintaining a flexible approach to work.
  • Storing and using chemicals in a safe manner.
  • Following all PPE guidelines.
  • Assisting with the recruitment of new team members.
