An expanding Stoke-on-Trent based fire and security services company is seeking a Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive to provide technical leadership and pre-sales expertise to drive sales and business growth through the effective leadership, planning and coordination of operations and teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects. As the Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive you will be responsible for:
- Planning and leading projects, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating teams and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
- Providing technical support during the project lifecycle, troubleshooting issues during installation and post-implementation.
- Working closely with the sales team to identify potential opportunities and assess customer needs and designs before developing a detailed proposal with cost estimates, technical specifications and timelines.
- Delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, explaining the benefits and functionality of proposed solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, risk management procedures and quality control according to technical specifications and industry standards.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery and solution design.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and latest advancements in fire protection and security technologies.
- Previous experience in project management, technical pre-sales, solution design or sales engineering within the fire and security industry is essential.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. NFPA, NICEIC, FIA or equivalent).
- Knowledge of fire protection and security systems (e.g. Fire alarms, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms).
- Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at various levels and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
