Position: Marketing Manager - UK & Ireland

Reports to: Head of Marketing IPE

Role Overview: This role will be responsible for managing, planning, and implementing strategic marketing plans that align with our core sectors and products across IPE. This role will be crucial in overseeing all marketing activities across various channels, such as digital, design, exhibitions, and new product launches. Additionally, the position will involve identifying and evaluating marketing outcomes to improve the effectiveness of marketing activities and increase leads and sales. It will also include establishing essential relationships with key stakeholders from across IPE.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the value of our products to customers.
  • Develop and execute engaging content and copy for marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive sales.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and technical, to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals. Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Maintain distinctive and engaging brand expressions, including visual identity and tone of voice.
  • Support the wider teams in producing various support materials, event content, collateral, and presentations.
  • Manage and coordinate exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and corporate events, developing event budgets, and analysing post event data to maximum ROI.
  • Manage and develop digital marketing channels (websites, social media, and email).

Associated Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other departments, as required, across IPE to achieve effective marketing strategies.
  • Identify and explore new opportunities across a range of marketing channels.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Experience in making technical subject matters customer-friendly.
  • Experience building content and developing brilliant user experiences and will be on top of analytics and reporting to make sure that we're identifying issues and opportunities quickly and efficiently.
  • Develop relationships with 3rd party agencies, ensuring effective collaboration & partnership for key projects.

Experience and Training:

  • Experience in developing multi-component marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for purposeful communication and creativity.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Candidates must have 5 years' experience working within a Marketing field within a busy manufacturing environment.
