We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity to become part of Keele University's Directorate of Student Support and Success as a Campus Safety Officer.

Our Directorate encompasses a range of specialist services dedicated to ensuring students are fully supported and able to thrive in their academic journey.

We are seeking a team of committed and professional individuals to help us maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive campus environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

As a member of the Campus Safety Team, you will often be the first point of contact for students and staff seeking assistance. This is a varied role that requires excellent customer service skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the University to resolve issues and contribute to a positive campus experience, so strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential.

The hours of work are based on 12-hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off basis, working alternate periods of x4 days, x4 rest days, x4 nights and x4 rest days in rotation.

Working hours will normally be based on 6am-6pm days, and 6pm-6am nights.

Site-specific training and uniform will be provided.

The post holder will be required to have a valid full driving license.
