Our client, a not-for-profit organisation, is seeking a Registered Manager for their brand new children's residential home, set to open in Spring 2025. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home.
- Lead and support a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
- Act as a corporate parent, ensuring the well-being and development of the children.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for both staff and children.
- Play a key role in setting up and developing the new service.
- Lead Ofsted home inspections.
- Annual salary of £50,000 - £60,000.

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation.
- Experience in planning and implementing high-standard care plans.
- Experience supporting children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.
- Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.
- Experience opening new services is advantageous.
- We will consider a Deputy with a minimum of 2 years experience who is ready to step up to Manager.
