This role will involve working with a great team of people and will be a busy one, as it deals with various departments and also liaises with customers. Job Description for the Production Scheduler Role
- To plan and update the system for production schedules and liaise with the different departments
- Supporting the production team as and when required
- Chasing different departments to help process the order through the system
- Entering details into SAP
- To prioritise workloads for the customer's needs
- Attending meetings to update production on the workloads and possible issues
- To update production schedules
- To provide excellent customer service to customers and also internal teams, as well as despatch companies
- Production planning/scheduling experience is required
- Experience of using an ERP system SAP ideally
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Someone who can work using their initiative
- Works within a multi-disciplined role
- Strong IT skills
- GCSEs at C or above in Maths and English
