This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with manufacturing experience who wants to take ownership of electrical compliance across a busy production facility. Role Overview Reporting into the Automation Manager, you'll be part of the wider engineering team but will manage electrical compliance independently. The position involves both hands-on electrical work and oversight of contractors to ensure all technical activities meet current standards and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the site.
• Carry out inspections, testing, and certification of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with UK legislation, safety standards, and site procedures.
• Manage and oversee the quality of work carried out by contractors.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across engineering and operations to deliver projects effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified Electrician with proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• NVQ Level 3 or recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
• City & Guilds Inspection & Testing (2394 / 2395).
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance in an industrial setting.
• Proactive, detail-focused, and able to work independently.
