We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a busy manufactring team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes and be proficient in operating press brake machinery to shape and form sheet metal components. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct tooling and settings for each job.
• Perform fabrication tasks including grinding, welding, and assembly as needed.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Utilise hand tools and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating press brake machinery or similar equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in fabrication, welding, or related fields.
• Familiarity with sheet metal work and tooling techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
