We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Control Panel Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and Wire Panels: Build, wire, and install electrical control panels according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and Test: Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on panels and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Component Installation: Select and install appropriate components, including relays, circuit breakers, and power supplies, based on project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks and inspections on panels, ensuring that all work complies with industry and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of wiring layouts, modifications, and testing results.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures and protocols, including PPE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in control panel building, electrical assembly, or a similar role.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
    • Hands-on experience with wiring, component installation, and use of hand and power tools.
    • Knowledge of electrical safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL).
    • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, such as multimeter and continuity testers.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) components is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automation systems and control processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
