Service Support Manager Stoke on Trent

One of our security focused clients in Stoke on Trent is looking for a Service Support Manager to join their growing team. As a Service Support Manager you will be responsible for overseeing Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and overseeing Configuration Management.

You will be responsible for leading the response to IT Service incidents, development and maintenance of incident response protocols, looking at overseeing the change management process, ensuring all changes to IT infrastructure are assessed, approved, implemented and reviewed in a controlled manner. Would suit someone with great communication skills as you will be required to provide leadership and support to their growing service desk team, ensuring that high level of customer service is provided and users issues are resolved in an efficient manner.

You will be participating in hands-on support activities as required, looking at maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of the IT infrastructure and service configurations.

Due to the nature of the sector our client operates in, we are looking for someone who ideally has an active SC clearance or is willing to undertake SC clearance if successful. It s working on some very exciting high security projects in the defence sector, our client has a very generous training budget in place with lots of opportunities for personal and professional development.
