Job Title: Children's Home Manager

Location: Derby

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Working Hours: Typically 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM,

About the Role:

Perfect Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Children's Home Manager for our client, a reputable children's home based in Derby. The home supports children aged 8-18 and aims to provide a nurturing and safe environment where young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the children s home.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each resident.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment for both children and staff.
  • Collaborate with families, social workers, and external agencies.
  • Oversee staff training and development.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a residential care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Valid driving license is required.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
