We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is a dynamic, enthusiastic pet and people person, with a passion for ensuring that pets receive quality, affordable healthcare with a Fear Free centred approach. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of launching our biggest clinic yet in April, delivering the care that pets would choose as part of a rapidly growing group of independent, family-owned practices. You will be working initially alongside a Clinic Director and a growing team of 2 RVN's and 2 FTE front of house Care Co-ordinators. Solid experience with routine surgical procedures and ability to work independently is required for this role, along with UK practice experience. 4 days per week 08.30am to 7pm. Days have a mix of consulting and theatre slots, with daily administration time factored in. Our consults are 15 minutes long. 1:2 Saturday morning 08.30 to1pm (increases as clinic and vet team continue to grow) No out-of-hours 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (Good Friday worked but day in lieu given) Private Medical Insurance including Employee Assistance Programme access £1000 standard CPD allowance with scope to study toward certificates Fear Free training and accreditation as standard Day off for birthday Two days off to work for a local charity of your choice Workplace pension scheme 2 free Total Wellness Plans your own pets - 25% discount off subsequent plans and all other treatments.
