Location: Stoke on Trent Salary: Circa 37,000

I am supporting a leading mental health charity in their search for a passionate Registered Manager to oversee a small residential care home supporting adults with complex mental illness in Stoke-On-Trent.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
  • Experience: 2+ years in operational management in health/social care.
  • Knowledge: CQC standards and person-centred service delivery.
  • Leadership: Effective supervision and management of staff.
  • Direct Experience: Supporting people with severe mental illness.
  • Agency Work: Experience with statutory agencies.

Key Duties:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the care home.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, supervise, and support the care team.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement person-centred care plans.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and statutory agencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve service quality and outcomes.
