Your new companyHays are currently recruiting for an experienced Homeless Floating Support Worker on a temporary basis to work with a local housing association in the Stoke on Trent area.Your new roleYour new role will be travelling between schemes to manage your own caseload of customers who maybe suffering from homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues etc, and assisting them in finding and sustaining tenancies and their journey towards independent living. You will be signposting them to services, carrying out risk assessments, liaising with other agencies etc and updating case notes on the system.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be considered for the role you must have proven experience in a similar role and working closely with customers with complex needs, specifically those who have suffered from substance misuse, homelessness etc. Furthermore, you will need a full driving license due to the nature of the role.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a temporary contract for up to 12 weeks work.
