Are you an experienced Welding Coordinator seeking a new opportunity ?

The welding Co Ordinator will oversee welding operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively within the production teams

Duties

• Review welding requirements and select suitable weld procedures to ensure project success.
• Co ordinate and oversee all welding process's
• Collaborate with production staff to allocate skilled welders to each project.
• Conduct inspecetions and quality control checks
• Perform front-line inspections at the fit-up stage and conduct random checks on welding parameters and pre-heats.
• Inspect final welds and maintain welder repair matrices to uphold quality standards.
• Manage and review NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) requirements across all projects.
• Oversee consumables in the stores and ensure the calibration and maintenance of welding and heat treatment equipment.

What You Will Bring:

• A strong understanding of welding procedures and standards.
• Experience in managing NDT requirements and subcontractor personnel.
• Proficiency in maintaining weld maps and documentation packs.
• Knowledge of consumable control, calibration, and maintenance of welding and heat treatment equipment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

This is working a day shift pattern which is 8.00am - 16.30pm Monday - Thursday, with a 13.30pm finish on a Friday (38 hours per week), and the role comes with an annual salary of 35,000 per annum, the role also comes with regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 on a Saturday and double time on a Sunday.
