Metalis is working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Newcastle Under Lyme, who due to continuous growth are looking for a Welder / Fabricator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.Job duties:

  • Execute MIG welding on diverse metal components and structures
  • Fabrication duties
  • Working from engineering drawings, and specifications to ascertain welding requirements accurately
  • As a MIG Welder you will be required to configure welding equipment and ensure optimal settings for each project
  • Utilise power tools required for MIG Welding and Fabrication including hand tools for cutting, shaping, and grinding metal pieces
  • Assemble and fabricate metal parts in accordance with provided specifications
  • Conduct thorough inspections of welds to uphold quality standards; perform necessary adjustments or repairs as required
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and uphold cleanliness and organisation within the work area

Shifts:

  • Welder/Fabricator
  • 13.50 - 14.50 per hour
  • 12 Week Temporary - Permanent
