TECHNICAL SUPPORT DESIGN ENGINEER BROWNHILLS

37,000 - 40,000 Monday Friday - 37 hours a week (Early Finish on Friday) A leading Manufacturer of products for the construction and manufacturing industry are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer. This is a newly created role within the business, due to recent expansion and an increase in production. Working alongside a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for more of a customer focus by supporting the internal sales team with Technical advice and guidance but also externally to customers and contractors. Role Description Detailed understanding of and the ability to interpret technical drawings Provide support to the Product Development Engineer with the day-to-day operations of the Technical Department including responding to customer technical enquiries Be involved with leading the research and development of new and exciting products The preparation of tool drawings for CNC cutting Skills and Qualifications Background experience of AutoCAD Software Engineering Degree or similar The ability to read and produce technical drawings Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for technically motivated engineers. Computer literate and ability to use diagnostic equipment is required and some experience of platforms such as Cummins , Xentry , Jaltest is advantageous.
