Sales Engineer

Mechanical focused Sales Engineer needed to join a growing business within the Pump manufacturing sector. You will manage contracts and develop customer relations from Sales to commissioning.
Day to day duties of the Sales Engineer:
- Working out costs associated to the contracts.
- Offering quotes for forthcoming projects
- Designing and engineers the contracts
- Liaising and building relationships with customers
- Visiting the customer and offering engineering solutions to issues on site
- Generating sales through site visits, marketing and proactive selling
- Populating all required documentation
Key skills for the Sales Engineer position includes:
- Proficient in Engineering Drawing, 3D modelling etc.
- A good understanding of the concepts of Sales and Marketing.
- Have good communication and customer service Skills.
- Good knowledge of Plant and Machinery, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of Machinery Installation and Commissioning.
- Must be capable of problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working hours are 40 hours, Monday to Friday. There is some occasional overnight travel, although infrequent.
