Our client is a well-established and thriving business, currently undergoing a period of substantial growth. Supplying into the utilities, water and green energy business, they are now seeking an additional Project Engineer to join their team.

Main Duties

  • Meet with clients to take details of specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks to junior staff members as appropriate
  • Project manage the contracts from initially enquiry to completion
  • Meet budgetary and cost objectives and track project performance,
  • Oversee the installation of contracts and train customer on use of equipment

Requirements

  • Basic Engineering Training is essential together with a full understanding of Project Management principals.
  • A project management professional certificate is highly desirable
  • Must be capable of specifying Plant and Machinery.
  • Have a good understanding of Health and Safety Operational requirements.
  • Have a good understanding of Instrumentation and Control with basic knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Possess a good understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in the principals of Machinery Installation and Commissioning.
  • Must be capable of problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate internally
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Willingness to travel including some nights away from home
