This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid base of practical skills who enjoys a variety of tasks and supporting skilled engineers in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key part in keeping the depot safe, clean, and operational. The Role As our Multi-Skilled General Maintenance Engineer, you'll be instrumental in the day-to-day upkeep of the depot. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out general maintenance tasks, such as replacing door seals, unblocking drains, tightening fixtures, and performing minor repairs.
• Supporting HVAC, electrical, and mechanical engineers with various tasks and providing essential labouring assistance.
• Conducting basic site inspections and accurately reporting any faults or damage.
• Performing minor plumbing tasks, including clearing blockages and replacing pipe fittings.
• Keeping plant rooms and maintenance areas clean and organised.
• Assisting with deliveries, material handling, and general upkeep of the depot.
• Participating in the 1-in-5 call-out rota (with enhanced pay).
• Following all health & safety procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.

• Practical maintenance experience gained in a commercial or industrial setting.
• The ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
• A strong willingness to learn and assist across various trades.
• A good work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Basic plumbing or general building maintenance skills are preferred, but not essential.
• Flexibility and a willingness to join the 1-in-5 call-out rota.

• A competitive annual salary of £30,000.
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
• Static single-site role no travel required.
• 1-in-5 call-out rota with a £150 standby payment and a minimum of 4 hours paid at 1.5x rate for call-outs.
