Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established leading manufacturer of products for the Power and Oil & Gas markets, who are based in the Brownhills, Walsall area. The successful candidate will be responsible design and development of a range of products such as pipework, heat exchanger and jigs fabrication.

• Carrying out design and development of products in accordance with industry regulations
• Conducting design calculations and simulations for structural integrity
• Performing stress analysis and selecting materials
• Ensuring designs are compliant with health and safety, and environmental regulations

• Degree qualified within an Engineering related subject
• Proven background in Mechanical Design, ideally heat exchangers, pipework, fabrications or pressure vessels
• Experience with stress analysis, FEA experience is desirable
• Based in a commutable distance of Brownhills
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Starting salary 45,000 - 50,000
