Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias. Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Industrial Manufacturing Business.

£46,000 + overtime + additional benefits.

Working Hours: 2x weeks of days: Monday Thursday, 6:30am to 3:30pm / Friday 6:30am 12:30pm 2x weeks of nights: Monday Thursday, 7:30pm 6:00am.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, progressive manufacturing business who have a long-standing presence in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

This role supports manufacturing through the provision of maintenance engineering activities across all automated production machinery on site. If you are adept at achieving optimisation of plant availability through skilled maintenance engineering practices, this could be for you!

Role Description. • Provision of both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of high speed, industrial, automated manufacturing machinery. • Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repair activities. • Stripping down, servicing, repairing and installing new machinery when required. • PLC Fault Finding. • Reporting on recurrent faults and helping to share improvement ideas. • Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion. • Reporting into the Engineering Manager.

Skills and Qualifications. • Electrically Biased Engineering skills. • Electrically Qualified (Level 3+) or Time Served background. • Strong fault-finding capability. • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or other industrial context. • Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated maintenance engineering team.

This role will suit a maintenance engineer who is looking for a great daily challenge and who enjoys finding solutions to engineering problems across manufacturing machinery.
