Industrial Commissioning Engineer Thermal Engineering Newcastle, Staffordshire Full Time £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Caltherm is a leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of industrial ovens, driers, and furnaces, primarily for the aerospace industry. With over 40 years of experience, we deliver custom-built solutions for a range of thermal processing applications, including heating, curing, and cooling, with cutting-edge equipment capable of handling temperatures up to 1300 C.

We are expanding and looking for an additional Industrial Commissioning Engineer to help manage a growing workload.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Served an Industrial electrical engineering apprenticeship
  • 18th edition qualified
  • Reading wiring diagrams (Industrial)
  • Industrial electrical installations and fault finding

What will your role as an Industrial Commissioning Engineer look like?

  • Commissioning Industrial Ovens, Driers and Furnaces both in the factory and nationwide
  • Trouble shooting and fault finding on thermal processing plants
  • Identifying and rectifying process faults
  • Servicing Ovens, Driers and Furnaces
  • Reading wiring diagrams and identifying electrical faults
  • Occasional overnight stays within the UK
