This role is working for one of the most exciting businesses in the renewable energy market. Throughout the last year they have increased their headcount by over 200% - this was 150+ new hires! You will be working for a global leader in their field working on some amazing energy projects incorporating over 30 different renewable energy technologies.

This company is one of the leading renewable energy & energy efficiency companies with over 70 offices worldwide and continuing their expansion into mainland Europe. They are emerging as one of the fastest growing sustainability companies in this sector, whilst maintaining an impressively low staff turnover of an extremely high skilled team.

About the Role:

  • Understand the companies Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and Processes.
  • Provide health and safety support for onsite for a BESS construction project.
  • Establish, manage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as local authorities, Health and Safety Executive and others as required and directed
  • Provide guidance and independence with regards to the assessment of and appointment of sub-contractors
  • Site based role in Stoke-on-Trent

The Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • Experience leading or managing a team would be beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety Management OR a minimum of 4 years related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 4 years large scale commercial/ government/ industrial construction project safety management.
