THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an Electrical Fitter for a temporary contract role. The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to the production of vehicle systems by routing, wiring, assembling, and installing electrical and electronic components to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install electrical and electronic components in mobile truck systems and fixed or gantry rail systems, such as junction and terminal boxes, control switch panels, and CCTV cameras, according to specifications.
  • Read drawings and occasionally schematics to determine assembly methods.
  • Utilize jig boards, hand tools, and power tools (drills, etc.) for assembly.
  • Experience working with 240v and 415v systems, as well as Cat5 cable, would be advantageous.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications are not essential, but relevant hands-on experience in a rapidly changing environment is required.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work are vital.

Applicants should have the ability to commute or plan to relocate to Stoke-on-Trent. Prior experience in electrical work is preferred.
