Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerLocation: Stoke-on-Trent, Hybrid WorkingRate: £40 per hour, Inside or Outside IR35The Role:On behalf of a M&E Contractor in the Midlands, we are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves contributing to a variety of exciting projects, including the design phase of a prestigious swimming pool/spa facility in London. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing their own drawings and working autonomously.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design electrical systems for building services projects.
  • Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using REVIT, Amtech, and Relux.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs align with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and documentation for electrical systems.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Essentials:
  • Industry Recognised Electrical Qualifications
  • M&E Building Services Experience, ideally from within an M&E Contractor
  • Proficiency in REVIT, Amtech, and Relux
