The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The successful candidate will provide administration support for research delivery in the Faculty and its constituent Schools, including support for Research Directors, Research Groups and Research Projects.
Duties will include supporting research delivery through meeting and committee organisation and event support, liaising on a regular basis with internal and external stakeholders and members of the public. It will include working with relevant systems and processes to assist with financial processing requests, diary management where linked with research, support web updates working with strategic communications and brand, and support the faculties research delivery objectives through support and administration of REF requirements.
You will have experience working in an administrative capacity in a large organisation, organising meetings, taking minutes and handling and distributing agendas, papers and information. You will have experience proactively working to manage your time and deadlines as they arise.
Experience of working in Higher Education or within the University Research environment is desirable.
Good communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders is essential, as is experience working with a team to support each other and the wider requirements of the department.
