The Opportunity
The School of Life Sciences is looking for a Lecturer to join our exceptional Biomedical Science teaching team.
The successful applicant will work with our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching teams to develop and deliver programmes to students. In parallel they will be encouraged to develop their skills as an academic educator. This will cover a broad area of interest including curriculum development, pedagogic research, outreach and public engagement.
You will have a minimum of 5 years of HCPC Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as either a Biomedical Scientist or Clinical Scientist. You will have a Masters degree or an equivalent level of professional experience in an area of biomedical science. You will have experience in delivering teaching, for example supporting the continued professional development of other HCPC Registrants through IBMS Registration or IBMS Specialist Portfolios.
You will have a genuine love for teaching students, a capacity for innovation, and a strong collaborative ethic. You will be able to incorporate your knowledge into exciting learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
