11 November 2025
Salary Range - £38,784 - £47,389

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Knowledge Mobilisation Research Associate to join the Versus Arthritis (VA) Clinical Epidemiology Research Consortia.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop, lead, and evaluate knowledge mobilisation (KMb) activities that ensure research is translated into practice and policy, improving care and outcomes for people living with arthritis and other painful musculoskeletal conditions.
The post is based in the Impact Accelerator Unit (IAU), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Medicine.
The IAU has a strong track record in developing innovative approaches to knowledge mobilisation, research, implementation and impact, and in maintaining successful partnerships and engagement with communities and the health and care sector.
The VA Clinical Epidemiology Research Consortia brings together partners from the Versus Arthritis Centres of Excellence—including researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience of musculoskeletal conditions.
Over the next five years, the consortia will focus on five priority themes:
• Health inequalities
• Painful musculoskeletal conditions in childhood
• The impact of the menopause on arthritis and musculoskeletal pain
• The use of pain-relievers
• The burden of blood tests for young people with arthritis
As a Knowledge Mobilisation Research Associate, you will play a central role in advancing these themes, ensuring that evidence is shared widely and effectively across research, policy, practice, and patient communities.
You will have a degree in a medical or health-related field, or equivalent experience, and experience of supporting innovations in health and care or research settings.
Please note that the starting salary will typically be at the bottom of the pay scale.
