We're looking for a sporty, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in a specialist provision. This role requires someone with their own vehicle, as travel between sites may be necessary.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. Use physical intervention techniques when necessary, always following school policy and training. Encourage participation in physical and outdoor activities to support learning and engagement. Build strong relationships with students, promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour.Requirements: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel expenses may be reimbursed). A sporty, active individual comfortable with physical tasks and activities. Experience with or willingness to be trained in de-escalation and physical intervention (e.g., Team Teach or MAPA).
