ABC Teachers is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisors with experience in secondary schools to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. About the role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support students with their learning to ensure they remain on task.
  • Work in a variety of secondary schools, gaining diverse experience and building valuable relationships.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary school cover supervisor you will:

  • Have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or similar role.
  • Be confident managing classrooms and engaging with students aged .
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or similar role.
