Position: KS2 Primary Teacher (Supply)Location: Stoke-on-TrentStart Date: January 2025Contract: Part-Time, 1 day per week (until March 2025)

About the RoleAcademics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 primary teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Stoke-on-Trent on a supply basis. This part-time supply position is ideal for a passionate teacher looking for flexible work with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

The role involves teaching a year 3 class 1 day per week, providing engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire young learners. You'll have the support of a friendly and collaborative staff team in a school that values creativity, inclusivity, and a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with the school's policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within KS2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting the wellbeing and development of pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
