Are you a passionate and qualified PE Teacher looking for flexible work this September in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers is actively recruiting PE Supply Teachers to support secondary schools across the area for both short-term and long-term assignments.

About the role

As a PE Supply Teacher with ABC Teachers, you ll be delivering engaging and energetic Physical Education lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You may work in a variety of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, covering planned absences or stepping in for unexpected cover.

  • Deliver PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow existing schemes of work
  • Promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage positive attitudes towards sport
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment
  • Marking and planning may be required for longer-term placements

Requirements

To be considered for the role of PE Teacher you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education
  • Have recent experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and lesson delivery skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and confident in managing classroom dynamics
  • Be committed to inspiring young people to lead active, healthy lives

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education
