Maths Lecturer

Salary: £27,425 - £40,369 (pro rata) Location: Cambridgeshire Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (4 days per week)

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Maths Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and support learners in achieving their qualifications. This is a permanent role, 4 days per week, offering excellent work-life balance while still providing the stability and development of a long-term post.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching across GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.

  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities to ensure learner progress and achievement.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.

  • Provide differentiated teaching and pastoral support to meet learner needs.

  • Monitor and track student performance, implementing interventions as required.

Essential Requirements
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTLS or equivalent).

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics with experience delivering GCSE/Functional Skills.

  • Teaching experience within FE or secondary settings.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
