Level 5 Learning Support Assistant (Part-Time, Term-Time Only)An inclusive and supportive educational setting in Stoke-On-Trent is seeking a Level 5 Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a wide age range of pupils, from Reception to Key Stage 4, many of whom have additional learning needs.Key Responsibilities:- Provide targeted support to pupils across a range of ages and abilities, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.- Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans, supporting academic, social, and emotional development.- Work alongside teachers and other support staff to promote an inclusive and engaging learning environment.- Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, ensuring consistent care and encouragement.- Contribute to assessments, progress reviews, and classroom organisation as required.Requirements:- Level 5 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).- Experience working across primary and/or secondary age groups.- Confidence in adapting support for different key stages and learning needs.- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach.- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
