My client has secured some exciting 33 & 132kV connection works projects and are looking for a Tendering Manager.

They are ideally looking for candidates who have experience of working on National Grid schemes who comes from a Transmission or Sub station construction background.

Office based in Stanfield, Stoke on Trent, this is a hybrid role.

My client is an engineering company that specialises in high voltage design, build and commissioning solutions for the energy sector.

Duties:

• Obtaining supplier quotes (understanding of pursuing manufacturers for rapid return of prices both firm and budget)
• Understanding TOCs
• Compiling cost build up sheets
• Produce payment schedules
• Produce technical offer letters
• Understand G81 standards
• Use of cloud-based software (Oracle, JNC etc)

Experience in:

• Excel (all aspects)
• Programme creation (we have a P6 planner)
• CVR reporting
• One Drive and SharePoint
• 11 to 132kV substation design and construction, primary and secondary, civil trench, and construction
• Experience in the ICP market to 132kV (training provided for higher voltage levels and EPC schemes)
• ISO processes
• Good presentation skills
• Good personal skill
• Driving licence
