This is an opportunity for a driven Quantity Surveyor to join a 5 Star House builder, working on a multi-phase RC Frame residential project.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to wok as part of a commercial team on a major multi-phase RC Frame project based in the Harrow area. You will be working under a Senior Surveyor on internal packages from procurement to final accounting. With opportunity to work in the team and gain good exposure to the Quantity Surveying role as you progress your own career. This project is currently love on site and will run for another 6 years with a further 6 blocks to be built. You will also be responsible for commercial functions such as reporting, value engineering, reviewing documents and preparing tenders.

Requirements:

The company are looking for a candidate with site experience and who has knowledge managing packages, feeding into CVRS, competent in subcontractor management, and managing costs. You will be responsible for packages from tender and the ideal candidate is someone who is a motivated and keen to join a business with excellent training and progression on offer and where you can learn from experienced staff and who ideally has the following:

• Degree in a construction related subject
• Minimum of 4 years experience with a developer or main contractor

The company:

The company are a well known 5 star house builder with offices across the UK. In this role you will be based in a team in West London with an initial project in Harrow. The company and in a secure financial position, work on their own developments and in partnership with local authorities.
