Procurement Manager - uPVC & Aluminium Fenestration Systems

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000

The role of the Procurement Manager - uPVC & Aluminium Fenestration Systems will involve:

  • Procurement Manager position dealing with a manufactured range of UPVc and aluminium fenestration systems
  • Leas and manage the implementation of a new stock management systems across 2 sites
  • Focus on optimising procurement processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and integrating purchasing functions to improve inventory control and supplier management
  • Collaborate with IT, warehouse, finance and other internal departments to ensure seamless integration of new system
  • Define system requirements and work closely with vendor and developers to customise system as required
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance and order processes, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
  • Oversee purchase order completion, approval workflows, and stock replenishment
  • Managing a the procurement team of circa 4

The ideal applicant will be a Procurement Manager - uPVC & Aluminium Fenestration Systems with:

  • Must have Procurement/Buying leadership experience within the fenestration market sector
  • Must have experience utilising Window Designer or similar
  • Must have a procurement qualification (CIPS)
  • Hands on experience with stock management or ERP system implementation (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness and decision making capability
